STANDARD WORKSHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REPAIRS
- All work - as per quote - will be done after the quote has been approved and signed by the client, and a 50% deposit - or more if so discussed - has been fully paid
- Repair work will be done to the highest possible standard and the shortest reasonable time considering availability of spares, duration of sub-work, and any other unforeseen circumstances
- Warranty will be as per MWW Warranty terms – which are available on our website
- All vehicles, machines or components are stored at MWW, s premises at the owner’s risks, MWW is not responsible for any damage due to theft, fire or any other accidental damage
- Vehicles, machines or components where quotations are not accepted must be collected and removed from our premises within 1 month from date of quote after the quotation costs have been fully paid, if the unit has not been collected a size related storage fee will be charged for every month that the unit is still on our premises
- Any additional defects or faults found during repair work will be discussed with the client and repaired at extra cost once approved by client and invoiced separately
- All Vehicles, machines or components may only be removed after final payment has been done, and funds have been cleared
REPAIR WARRANTY
- This warranty shall be for 1 month or 100 hours [whichever event occurs first] from the date of repair of the machine/component.
- The following components are warranted when repaired:
- Engine, Transmission and Differential
- The following items are excluded:
- On Engine: all electrical components, computers and wiring, seals and wear parts, cooling fan + hoses, fan drive and belts, filters and hoses, fuel lines and pump + injectors, turbocharger and compressor.
- On Transmission and Differential: all electrical parts and wiring, driveshafts and fasteners, axle bolts and brake parts.
3. This warranty shall not apply to:
- A - Parts as tyres, v-belts, cables, filters and hoses, electrical parts, hydraulic parts and pipes, cab parts glasses and gauges as mentioned above in no 2
- B - Defects or functional difficulties arising from:
- any change or modification made to machine
- operation, storage or maintenance in any manner not approved by Mech Weld Workshop
- improper repair or maintenance/installation done by someone not authorised by Mech Weld Workshop, or the use of improper parts on the machine
- the use of attachments
- the use of incorrect or inferior fuel and lubricants
- the machine being used in other applications than intended for
4. During the period specified in no 1 above, Mech Weld Workshop shall repair or replace, whichever Mech Weld Workshop may elect, any part or parts which are found upon inspection to be defective in material or workmanship. The parts and/or labour required for such repair or replacement will be provided without charge by Mech Weld Workshop.
5. The repaired or replaced part or parts shall be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period.
6. This warranty shall only be for normal working hours at MWW premises but shall not include any costs of transportation of parts or machines to or from MWW premises.
7. This warranty does not cover normal maintenance, service and parts.
8. This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, whether written, oral, expressed or implied.
9. In no event shall Mech Weld Workshop, its workers or agents at any time be liable for any general, special, incidental or consequential damages, or any economical or moral loss arising while machine is at Mech Weld Workshop's premises, or out of any failure of machine.
